For as long as I can remember I have thrived off competition, hard work and physical fitness. I played state level competitive sport from a very young age and after leaving school I wanted a career that would test me mentally but more importantly physically.
I served for over 7 years in the Australian Army all throughout Australia including operational service in Afghanistan. While serving in the army, my passion for fitness thrived and I was responsible for taking physical training for the soldiers in my unit.
After leaving the army I decided I wanted to follow my passion for Health and Fitness further and enrolled in becoming a Personal Trainer. Whilst undertaking my course I wanted to push myself physically and entered my first Natural Bodybuilding competition. Since then I have competed at the some of the biggest competitions in the country as a Natural Athlete and have enjoyed the challenge of pushing myself further than I ever thought was possible.
I really enjoy educating my clients on how they can live a healthy balanced lifestyle that is sustainable long term. I believe in evidence-based research and this is what I preach and instil to my clients. I really enjoy teaching my clients a flexible approach to their nutrition end educating them on how to eat for their goals. I have a realistic approach to training and nutrition that is customised to each client and their particular goal.
I believe having the right mind set is crucial to achieving your goals. Being mentally ready to change is the first step.
